The 1080P HDMI-to-AHD converter re-times an HDMI source into an AHD signal that travels over coaxial cable. The HDMI input recognizes 480i60, 576i50, 720p60, 1024x768, 1366x768, 1280x1024, 1080i50, 1080i60, 1080p25, 1080p30, 1080p50 and 1080p60 resolutions. A DC 5V-12V wide-voltage input powers the unit, and the panel labels distinguish the HDMI input, HDMI output, AHD output, AHD loop-out and power ports.

During installation the source cable lands on the HDMI input, the local monitor stays on the HDMI loop-out, and the two BNC connectors send the AHD stream to the recorder and onward along the coaxial run; one BNC serves the recorder feed while the other keeps the downstream loop free, mirroring how the HDMI side pairs its input with a loop output. Mode positions cover PAL at 1080P@25P and NTSC at 1080P@30P, with a separate light control that switches on together with power. Before ordering, verify that the source resolution sits inside the recognized list, confirm the recorder accepts AHD-1080P, and size the adapter within the DC 5V-12V range so the input specification is never exceeded.
