The 200 metre figure is a rated value under open conditions, so the usable span shortens once walls or objects block the path, and a measured test at the real positions is worth doing before handover. Selection comes down to three checks: that the source really outputs 1080P, that the display still has an HDMI input free, and that the distance and obstruction between the two points suit a wireless link. If the span is longer than 200 metres or the path is clearly blocked, go back to a wired extension. With HDMI connectors at both ends no adapter is needed on the video side, so the work concentrates on position, orientation and distance.
