The interface type is HDMI: the transmitter takes its signal from the HDMI output of the source device, and the receiver is wired with an HDMI lead to a 4K capable display or monitor, which suits sites where running a long cable along walls or floors is inconvenient. The link carries an ultra-high-definition frame, with noticeably more picture data than a full high-definition signal, so transmission conditions matter more and the layout should leave real headroom, with each unit placed close to its own source or display end; move the units and the link is rebuilt straight away, which cuts the cabling labour a wired run would need.

During installation keep the two units within 200 metres, reduce obstruction and interference between them, and remember that the 200 metre rating belongs to open conditions - the effective span falls once the path passes through walls, so a measured test at the real positions is safer before handover. Selection follows a fixed order: whether the source can output 4K, whether the display supports 4K and has a free HDMI input, and whether the distance and obstacles on site suit a wireless link. If the span exceeds 200 metres or the path is clearly blocked, switch to a wired extension. Since both ends are HDMI no adapter is needed on the video side, and the work lies in setting orientation, mounting height and distance; a largely clear path between transmitter and receiver is what keeps a 4K signal running continuously, and commissioning starts by confirming the picture lights up at the right resolution, then checking for dropouts or flicker at full range.
