An integrated blackbody reference sits inside the housing of model VDC-FRT9265R-HB, giving online thermal measurement a fixed on-device temperature benchmark. The uncooled VOx module behind it produces 256x192 infrared frames with 12 um pixels and a 4 mm thermal lens, covering -15 to 150 degrees Celsius and holding 0.3 degree accuracy at target temperatures between 35 and 38 degrees. White heat, black heat, fusion, rainbow, iron red and amber displays are available.

Recording happens locally as well: built-in 16GB EMMC storage keeps up to 100000 temperature records without a server. The 1/2.8-inch 2 megapixel visible sensor adds colour imagery at 0.005 Lux with more than 80 dB wide dynamic range and an 84 degree horizontal field, while face capture tracks 20 to 30 subjects and uploads face, head-and-shoulder, upper-body, whole-body and original pictures over FTP or HTTP.

Interfaces include one HDMI output, one fast-Ethernet network port, one alarm output and an audio input/output pair, with RTSP, ONVIF and GB28181 on the networking side. Protection is rated IP64, consumption stays no higher than 5 watts and the body measures 235x136x92 mm for entrance posts and reception desks.
