Wireless connectivity defines model VDC-HDMI2IP-W, an HDMI encoder on a HiSilicon base that takes one source at up to 1080P@30fps and offers 802.11b/g/n access with WEP, WPA or WPA2 encryption. Indoor transmission stays within 30 m and outdoor transmission within 100 m, yet one self-adaptive 10M/100M wired RJ45 port remains available whenever site cabling exists, so recorders and servers see the same streams over either path.

Encoding covers H.265 and H.264 video with AAC, G.711U or G.711A audio at 48000kHz, producing main, sub and mobile stream tiers from 1920x1080 down to 320x240 as the field frequency allows 1 to 25fps or 1 to 30fps. Streams exit through RTSP, RTMP, TS flows, TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP, DNS, DHCP or ONVIF, reaching YouTube, Wowza and Hikvision 78 and 79 series H.265 recorders.

With DC 12V power under 3 watts and a 115x70x33 mm shell weighing about 0.42 kg, the encoder suits temporary live coverage, exhibition booths and sites with an established wireless plant. VIDCOM offers the wireless variant alongside the wired and PoE members of the same encoder series for mixed project bills.
