2MP AHD TVI CVI to IP Video Encoder

Encodes auto-detecting AHD, TVI or CVBS inputs into network video at up to 2 MP with H.264 or H.265 compression, served over ONVIF and RTSP. PAL and NTSC are handled at about 1 W draw.

This 2MP video encoder converts the picture from an analog HD coaxial camera into a network stream. The input auto-detects AHD, TVI and CVI formats and adapts to PAL and NTSC at the same time, so the camera type never has to be selected by hand. Encoding resolution reaches 2MP, compressed with H.264 or H.265. On the network side a single RJ45 port works at 10M/100M adaptive speed and serves standard ONVIF together with RTSP streams, letting a network recorder, management platform or streaming software add the device directly. The factory default address is 192.168.1.219, the unit draws about 1 W, and it runs from a DC12V 1A supply.

Wiring is a coaxial camera line into the encoder, a network cable from the RJ45 port into the local network, and then the DC12V 1A adapter to start it. Configuration begins from the default address 192.168.1.219, which sits inside the 192.168.1.x range, so on a different subnet the address has to be changed before a recorder or platform can add the encoder alongside it, and only after the platform finds the device and the stream checks out is the job finished. The usual application is bringing already installed AHD, TVI or CVI cameras into an IP system without replacing the front end and while keeping the existing coaxial wiring. When selecting, confirm that the 2MP ceiling covers the pixels of the cameras in place, that the platform decodes H.264 and H.265, that the 10M/100M port leaves enough bandwidth for the number of streams taken at once, and that a DC12V supply position is free in the cabinet. At about 1 W per unit heat stays low when several are mounted side by side, though ventilation should still be allowed.
